A Hutch is Not Enough
The RWAF recommends a minimum hutch size of 6" x 2" x 2", which will allow rabbits some room to move and also stand on their hind legs. This also gives enough space for food, toilet and sleeping areas to be kept apart. A rabbit should have space for 3 hops but it is commonly underestimated just how far 3 hops is. Tests carried out by the RWAF show that 3 hops from an average sized rabbit covers 6-7 feet!
If you choose a hutch for your pet it should only be used as a shelter and not permanent living space. There should be 24 hour access to a secure attached run of at least 8" x 4". These recommendations are the minimum requirements you must meet in order to re-home from Buddies. If you have not already purchased a set-up for your rabbits please call or email us for advice and recommendations.
If you meet all the above requirements and would like to take the next step towards adopting your new rabbits please fill out the Adoption Questionnaire and we will get back to you ASAP

Rodd and Todd
Rod and Todd are 2 cheeky brothers who are both neutered and vaccinated. Both enjoy being busy, investigating and head rubs. They are looking for a spacious home with someone who will love them to pieces. They both had bad pododermatitis (sore/bald hocks) when they arrived which has been treated and is healing - this is common for rex breed and a new owner would need to be able to keep an eye on this and provide them with soft materials to sit on.
Gorgeous Apple is a 2 year old lady who has been neutered and vaccinated. She is an English cross and as you can see very stunning - like many English's she takes time to trust but once she knows you she is very sweet and affectionate. She is a true beauty. Our pretty lady is looking for some bunny to love
Rum and siblings
Rum, Leanne, Hazel and Sara-Anne are 8 month old siblings, 3 girls and a boy - all have been neutered and vaccinated. Their Dad was a wild bun so while they are confident they will need an experienced home as can be easily frightened. However please don't let this put you off as they are fantastic wee characters - looking for a loving new home with lots to explore. These buns can either go as a group or in pairs.
